1. Never Mind the Bollocks may have appeared revolutionary, but the Clash's eponymous debut album was pure, unadulterated rage and fury, fueled by passion for both rock & roll and revolution. Though the cliché about punk rock was that the bands couldn't play, the key to the Clash is that although they gave that illusion, they really could play -- hard.. The charging, relentless rhythms.

6. The Toho dub (named Super Spacefortress Macross in Japan) had been created for international sales by Omni Productions. The better known of the two US releases of the dub is an edited version that was released by Celebrity Home Entertainment's "Just for Kids" label in the late s, renamed Clash of the Bionoids. It has been heavily criticized.

The US saw the 2nd album "Give 'Em Enough Rope" relased before the first to coincide with the band's first transatlantic tour in early (and like in Japan and in Canada) the 1st LP "The Clash" was soon repackaged with an updated track list and the addition of a free 7" "Groovy Times" / "Gates Of The West" which wasn't released separately.
